The Media Center of First Baptist Hurst is a resource for all ages. There are thousands of books--books for toddlers, children, preteens, teenagers and adults. Books to help you with personal finance, raising children, expanding your Christian walk, improving your marriage, dealing with grief, sharing your faith. There are resource books and commentaries for Bible study leaders and Christian fiction books from the most popular authors.
Hundreds of videos are available as well--from Veggie Tales and Adventures with Odyssey (Focus on the Family), to family-friendly movies and Bible studies. There are audio tapes of the Bible and Bible studies. Teaching Videos, CDs and/or DVDs from authors/speakers such as Beth Moore, Ann Graham Lotz, and Kay Arthur (Precept Bible Studies) are also available.
The Media Center is open each Sunday morning, 9am-12:30pm. Checking out a book, video, audiocassette, CD, or DVD is as simple as filling out an information card to be placed in the Media Center's computer.
Books may be checked out for a two-week period. Videos, audiocassettes, CDs, and DVDs may be checked out for a one-week period.
The Media Center is located along Main Street near the Worship Center.
