Teams working "SHOULDER 2 SHOULDER"
Zephaniah 3:9 - "then will I purify the lips of the people that they may call on the name of the Lord and serve him shoulder to shoulder."
WORSHIP CHOIR
Who We Are:
- We are a group of individuals who have felt the Lord's leadership in serving as worship leaders by joining our voices with others to make up the Worship Choir.
What We Do:
- Sing each Sunday morning in the worship services 9:45 & 11am. (We are dismissed to either attend the worship service, or LIFE Connection during the welcome time)
- Provide the foundation for larger scale, seasonal worship events.
What is Required:
- A love for God and a desire to lead others to worship Him through music.
- A commitment to participate with the team during the necessary preparation process, in order to serve most effectively.
- This group requires no audition and is open to all people, high school (grade 11) - adult. Choir meets each Wednesday evening from 7:00 - 8:30pm in the Worship Center (Childcare is provided). For more information email our Worship Pastor or call 817.282.3628 ext. 122.
ORCHESTRA TEAM
Who We Are:
- We are a group of instrumentalists who have felt the Lord's leadership in serving as worship leaders by playing our instruments in the morning worship service.
What We Do:
- We play each Sunday morning in the worship services & play for larger scale, seasonal worship events.
What is Required:
- A love for God and a desire to lead others to worship Him through music.
- A commitment to participate with the team during the necessary preparation process, in order to serve most effectively.
- This group requires an interview with the Orchestra Director to determine the placement of the individual. The group meets each Wednesday evening 7-8:30pm in the Choir room (Childcare is provided). For more information email our Orchestra Director or call 817.282.3628 ext. 121.
PRAISE BAND
Who We Are:
- We provide the instrumental foundation for weekly services as well as for special events and occasional seasonal activities.
What is Required:
- A love for God and a desire to lead others to worship Him through music.
- A commitment to join the team during the necessary preparation process, in order to serve most effectively.
- A level of musicianship that reflects God's gifting in this area.
- An attitude of servant leadership on our team which allows you to serve selflessly.

VOCAL PRAISE TEAM
Who We Are:
- We serve as the primary Worship Team for Sunday
What is Required:
- A love for God and a desire to lead others to worship Him through music.
- A commitment to participate with the team during the necessary preparation process, in order to serve most effectively.
- A level of musicianship that reflects God's gifting in this area. (These groups are more specifically geared toward those with experience/training in singing.)
- An attitude of servant leadership on our team, which allows you to serve selflessly. While specific musical ability is important, we are also worship leaders for the congregation. Therefore, we also work to further develop mature "worshippers."
- Participation in the Worship choir. (Rehearsals are Wednesday nights 8:30-9:30pm - we presently have three praise teams that sing every third month)

MEDIA MINISTRY
Who We Are:
- We are a group of individuals who work with the Worship & Creative Arts Ministry to enhance the worship experience for all people.
What We Do:
- We work behind the scenes in the following areas:
- Audio - Setup mics and monitors for services. Make sure all mic lines are accessible to all on stage. Check batteries in wireless mics. Run house sound for services, special events and productions.
- Lighting - Help re-focus and gel lights for services, special events and productions.
- Video mediums - VideoCamera operators run camera for video taping of services and for IMAG on the video screens during the Worship Service.
- Graphics - Runs switcher for sanctuary video projectors that also consists of running PowerPoint, VCR/DVD playback and selecting camera feeds to be re-imaged.
What is Required:
- A love for God and a desire to lead others to worship Him through media.
- Experience is helpful, but not necessary. Training for all positions is provided.

GUIDANCE & GUIDANCE KIDS - DANCE MINISTRIES
Who We Are:
- A group of mostly women and some men of all backgrounds and various ages. We know that doing God's will is a lot like dancing...When we let go & let God lead, only then can we dance in unity with Him. The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person and gentle guidance and skill from the appointed leader.
What We Do:
- As our name says... God, U and I dance. We come together to dance to music in one accord as a symbol of love and joy before our Lord. We use different styles of lyrical and interpretive movements to portray our thankfulness and celebration to Him, our Savior. Dance is meant to give God the glory.
- Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4 - "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven...a time to mourn and a time to dance."
- Psalm 149:3 - "Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and harp."
What is Required:
- A heart to worship your Lord through dancing using prescribed or sometimes spontaneous steps.

DRAMA MINISTRY
Who We Are:
- We are a group of individuals who use drama as a way of bringing the "word" to life.
What We Do:
- We offer reflections of Biblical truth through the use of relevant, dramatic elements (e.g. readings, sketches), during Sunday services.
What is Required:
- A love for God and a desire to lead others to worship Him through the dramatic arts.
- A commitment to participate with the team during the necessary preparation process, in order to serve most effectively.
- A level of dramatic artistry that reflects God's gifting in this area. (Areas of involvement include work in several "behind the scenes" support roles.)
- An attitude of servant leadership on our team which allows you to serve selflessly.

HANDBELL MINISTRY
Who We Are:
- We are a group of individuals who use the handbells in worship.
What We Do:
- We play periodically in the worship services and other opportunities as they are provided.
What is Required:
- A Commitment to join the team during the necessary preparation process, in order to serve most effectively. The group meets on Sunday evenings. Contact for a current rehearsal schedule.
