Made For Praise is a ministry committed to teaching children that their Heavenly Father created them to praise Him in all that they do. It is our goal to help children learn to praise and worship the Father. We at First Baptist Hurst believe there is no greater task than helping our children learn of the wonders of God.

Made For Praise meets in the spring semester for a total of 13 weeks on Sunday nights from 5-7pm. It is open to Pre-K children through 6^th grade students. Our two and three year old children learn to praise on Sunday mornings during their normal LIFE Connection classes. 

On Sunday evenings, children participate in a choir class where they learn God-focused songs and participate in a devotional time with teachers committed to helping them further their relationship with God. In addition to the choir class, grade school students have the opportunity to choose an elective class that allows them to learn how to praise the Father through other outlets. The elective classes include: art, cooking, drama (3rd-6th only), photography, sign language, stomp, and woodworking.
