The Children's Ministry of First Hurst includes students in 1st-6th grades. Our greatest desire is to partner with you in helping your children know, love, and follow God with all their heart, soul, and strength. This is accomplished by providing a safe, fun, and enriching environment for your children to learn about Christ, how to love others, and how to become a faithful follower. We can't wait to meet you here in the Children's Zone!

God makes it very clear that He has formed us and shaped us with His own hands. He also teaches us and shows us how to live for Him. In fact, He is continually shaping us to be the person He wants us to be. Just as He showed Jeremiah in Jeremiah 18, we are like the clay and He is the potter. He is molding us and making us into individual, unique creations.

As children, we are the most open to allowing God to mold us and shape us. At First Baptist Hurst, our goal for children is to provide opportunities for them to be "Shaped by God." We teach them, we love them, and we show them who God is, so that they will allow God to shape them into the wonderful creation He wants them to be.    

We offer many opportunities for children to learn and be shaped through play, hands on activities, Bible stories, Holiday events, life application activities, service projects, etc. We consider it a tremendous privilege to provide age-appropriate, fun learning opportunities so our children can be...
