The purpose of the Women's Ministry of First Hurst is to encourage and motivate women to draw closer to the Lord and to each other. We offer a variety of opportunities throughout the year to deepen your walk with the Lord and also to just kick back and have some fun!

 Julie's genuine care about enriching the lives of women and a passion to see them discover the unique way God has crafted them to fulfill His purpose makes her a popular speaker to numerous women's groups and organizations each year. She applies her life story and Biblical principles to connect with her audience in an interactive, fun, and personal way that reaches straight to the heart.
A "Purseful" Christmas...Is your Christmas purposeful or just full? Would you say the holidays can be just a tiny bit stressful? As wonderful as this time of year is, it certainly can be full! Let's look at some of those seasonal stresses, as well as what we can do to save our sanity and pursue a Christ-Full Christmas. And, maybe...with just a little purposeful planning, a purseful Christmas can be in the bag!

LADIES BIBLE STUDY:
Ladies Bible Study Classes are usually offered in a 10-week time frame in the Fall & Spring. We offer classes on Sunday Evenings from 5-7 pm & Tuesday Mornings from 10 am-12 pm. Childcare is available for some of these studies. Click here to see our Spring 2008 offerings.

Women Developing One 2 One Friendships
Our Heart 2 Heart ministry to women is built around two scriptures: For where two or three gather together because they are mine, I am there among them (Matthew 18:20) and Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; if one falls down, her friend can help her up (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). For four months in the Fall and four months in the Spring, pairs of women meet to encourage each other in homes, parks, restaurants, before church, after work, early in the morning and in the evening all around our area. MOPS
Mothers of Preschoolers
MOPS is dedicated to the message that "mothering matters," and that moms of young children need encouragement during these critical early years. Our MOPS program helps mothers find friendship and acceptance, provides places for real and open connection, and helps each mom experience God's love through relationships and resources.
