(Nehemiah 8:10)

The purpose of the Women's Ministry of First Hurst is to encourage and motivate women to draw closer to the Lord and to each other. We offer a variety of opportunities throughout the year to deepen your walk with the Lord and also to just kick back and have some fun!

Ladies Spring Event, "An Evening with Mary", Friday Evening, March 26
Mark your calendars for our annual FBCH Ladies Spring Event “An Evening with Mary”.
Guest speaker, Sheila Crouch, has a passionate zeal to share God’s Word. God has anointed her with her own dynamic and innovative style of teaching and sharing. It is the desire of her heart to be used of God to enable women of all ages to reach their full potential in every area of life. You will be challenged, enlightened, refreshed, inspired and motivated through the ministry God has given her.
Tickets will be available on Main Street March 7TH, 14TH, and 21ST before and after each service.

Time: Doors open at 6pm – Picnic dinner served until 7pm in Fellowship Hall
Program begins at 7:15pm

LADIES BIBLE STUDY:
Ladies Bible Study Classes are usually offered in a 10-week time frame in the Fall & Spring. We offer classes on Sunday Evenings from 5-7 pm & Tuesday Mornings from 10 am-12 pm. Childcare is available for some of these studies. Click here to see our Spring 2010 offerings.

Women Developing One 2 One Friendships
Our Heart 2 Heart ministry to women is built around two scriptures: For where two or three gather together because they are mine, I am there among them (Matthew 18:20) and Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; if one falls down, her friend can help her up (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). For four months in the Fall and four months in the Spring, pairs of women meet to encourage each other in homes, parks, restaurants, before church, after work, early in the morning and in the evening all around our area. MOPS
Mothers of Preschoolers
MOPS is dedicated to the message that "mothering matters," and that moms of young children need encouragement during these critical early years. Our MOPS program helps mothers find friendship and acceptance, provides places for real and open connection, and helps each mom experience God's love through relationships and resources.
