Definition of a Point Man:

  • A soldier who is assigned to a position some distance ahead of a patrol as a lookout.
  • A man who has a crucial, often hazardous role in the forefront of an important enterprise.
  • The leader or spokesperson of a campaign or organization
  • Men who have chosen to answer God's call to be leaders in their homes, churches and commmunity.

Our Mission:  To meet men where they are, to connect them with other men and to lead them to discover how they have been uniquely shaped and called by God to know and follow hard after Him in all aspects of their lives…

Our Guiding Verses:                 

  • 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, “Be on guard, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.  Do everything in love.”
  • Proverbs 27:17, “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

Our Guiding Values:

  • To act like Men…God has created us and positioned us uniquely.  We need to celebrate that and step up!  We are to be Point Men in our families, in our churches, in our community, etc…
  • To share life with one another…To involve men in significant relationships with other men…
  • To grow in Christ…God’s Word is the authority for our life…we need to live by it.
  • To become Missional Leaders…to use our gifts and talents in service and leadership in taking the gospel to our world.

Small Groups:

Our focus is to connect men with one another through small groups with the purpose of moving from acquaintance (accept one another) to friend (encourage one another) to brother (exhort one another)….

  • LINK Groups – task / affinity / interest / service
  • LIFE Groups – growth / accountability / spiritual formation (connect, grow, serve, go, worship)

    As Christian men, we are on a spiritual journey to become more like Christ. As we go through the process of building our lives, each of us makes decisions on a daily basis which build upon our past and prepare us for the future. In constructing a building, a great amount of planning, time, and energy are put into laying the foundation. Without a solid foundation, any construction project is in trouble from the outset. "Real Faith," a one-to-one discipleship process, is intended to help you lay a solid foundation for your life--a foundation that is based upon God's Word found in the Bible. It does not matter where you are in your spiritual journey; the lessons will help you come to a better knowledge and understanding of accessing God's power for living, by living through faith.
