Hope Unseen Ticket

HOPE UNSEEN, SATURDAY, JANUARY 28...
Men and women of all ages, join us for this evening of worship and inspiration presented by PointMen and the FBCH Women's Ministry. Our special guest is Captain Scotty Smiley and his wife Tiffany.  Captain Smiley, a Ranger and combat-‐diver qualified infantryman, was the Army’s first active-‐duty, blind officer and its first blind company commander. On April 6, 2005, he lost the use of both eyes when a suicide car bomber blew himself up thirty meters in front of Scotty’s Stryker vehicle.(Click here to read more of their story.)  Tickets are $3 and include dessert.  We will begin at 6:30pm with dessert and fellowship and follow that with our worship time.  So, be sure to invite a friend, come ready to have fun, fellowship with friends, and be challenged in a new way.  Please email  with any questions.

2012 MEN'S SPRING SOFTBALL...begins in a little over a month! We will be playing in the Hurst Men's Church Division on Friday Nights at the Hurst Athletic Complex on Precinct Line. The season begins Friday, March 2 and will last for 10+ weeks. The cost per player is $20. At this time we will be fielding one team. So, be one of the first 15 guys to register at the PointMen kiosk to save your spot. If registration is overwhelming then we may field a second team. Please don't register unless you plan to play every week. Contact  for more info.

    • Life Builders - One to One Discipleship
As Christian men, we are on a spiritual journey to become more like Christ. As we go through the process of building our lives, each of us makes decisions on a daily basis which build upon our past and prepare us for the future. In constructing a building, a great amount of planning, time, and energy are put into laying the foundation. Without a solid foundation, any construction project is in trouble from the outset. "Real Faith," a one-to-one discipleship process, is intended to help you lay a solid foundation for your life--a foundation that is based upon God's Word found in the Bible. It does not matter where you are in your spiritual journey; the lessons will help you come to a better knowledge and understanding of accessing God's power for living, by living through faith. If you have an interest or questions about Life Builders, email or call him at 817.283.1295.
