If money were no object, where would I go on vacation? Places we have not yet visited that we hope to one day include the Scandinavian countries as well as Australia.
Something people would be surprised to know about me: I'm acutally 6'-5" tall; God just packed me into a 5'-6" frame.

Something people would be surprised to know about me: I have an "artsy" side.
When I was a teen, I went on a mission trip (one of many). It was on that trip I felt God calling me to serve. I started working at FBC Hurst when I was 15 years old. I am 48 years old right now (worked at FBC Hurst 33 years this March). My theme statement means so much to me because someone allowed me the opportunity to do ministry, and I am doing it for a lifetime. I would like to see every church memeber have the opportunity to minister to others through missions. Who knows whom God may use?

After graduation I spent 1 year as an Associate Youth Minister at First Baptist Church in San Antonio further developing my knowledge as a Youth Minister. In November of 2002 I accepted the position as Minister to Students at Westbury Baptist Church in Houston where I served for 5 ½ years. I joined the staff of First Hurst in September of 2008 as Pastor of Youth & Recreation. In our Youth Ministry, it is my desire for the students of First Hurst to have their lives transformed in order that they may live a life that reflects the heart and person of Christ. In our Recreation Ministry, my hope and my prayer is that people will be challenged to live a healthy lifestyle in order that they may take care of the temple of God that is their body. In all aspects of my ministry, my purpose is to interact with the daily lives of the people that I come into contact with in order that they may know Christ and live in an intentional relationship with Him.
