At First Baptist Church Hurst we believe that God has brought you to our church for a specific reason. The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 12:12, “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body.” Each Christian is given at least one spiritual gift but not all are given the same gift. What does this mean for the church? This means we need a multitude of people with various gifts and abilities given by God to carry out the mission He has given us..

God has called all of His children to be ministers of His gospel. It’s your service that allows us to do all that God has called us to do in our community. It’s in our diversity of giftedness that we find unity in serving. Perhaps you are thinking you don’t know what you could possibly do to serve at First Hurst.
