When Jesus was asked what the Greatest Commandment was, He responded by saying, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” Jesus was saying that we are to love God and to love people. In fact one of the ways that we love God is by loving people. Jesus expanded on this thought in Acts 1:8 when told the early disciples that, "...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." In other words, we are to be His representatives in our community, in our region and in our world.

When we share God's love within our community, we are simply doing what God has called us to do. Our mission is to follow God's leadership in meeting the needs of folks in our community by sharing His love and grace through ministries He has led us to begin or simply be a part of.
